"Just a quick level set here. I have personally not heard anything behind the scenes about an impending new LOI, NOI, NOA or any of the other acronyms we’ve become familiar with. Second thing I want to address is the Weiss situation. I’ve noticed a sentiment of “how could a dumb jock football coach pull off something this complex?” I think that stems from misconceptions people have about hacking they’ve learned from the movies. Hacking isn’t furiously typing on a keyboard while binary code flies across the screen like in the Matrix. It’s heavily reliant on social engineering typically and in this case, Weiss essentially had a cheat sheet in the form of a large database containing email addresses and passwords which he would attempt to use across platforms in hopes women used the same passwords for their other personal accounts. The indictment mentioned he was researching pet names, maiden names etc. This is pretty telling of his methodology. These details are the most common answers to security questions that generate when you submit a password reset request. So he was likely breaking in to accounts he couldn’t access with a password directly (but had access to the email associated with the account) by submitting a password reset. The point I’m trying to make is that this is all very simple stuff. This does not require a Masters in computer science. This confusion goes both ways btw. With people friendly to our cause, I’ve seen a lot of “This can’t be a lone wolf. This has to be a much larger group of conspirators.” Again this is all very simple stuff, especially when you have the giant advantage Weiss had with the database of emails and passwords. This does not require a cabal of dubious engineers.
Last thing, let’s talk about the practice footage thing. We’ve all 3 independently heard the stories about this angle since the very beginning. I can’t speak for PD but 22 and I have been working on this since 2023. We’ve heard it from very credible people that you would not believe we have been able to get to. But I think it’s important to state that we have not been able to prove it dead to rights. On one hand, I want to caution us from talking about it as if it’s a stone cold fact because we can’t truly say that. On the other hand, if losers like Chris Balas think we are just pulling this out of our collective ass, he’s out of his mind. It’s worth noting the person that originally told 22 and I about the practice footage also gave us the names of the firms used in the Weiss investigation and those names did not exist on the internet in 2023 and we confirmed via FOIA that Michigan paid one of those firms 6 figures in the exact window that person said. So there is at least some provable credibility to that particular person’s story. "
