As I was reading the post about OSU's current average ACT score for new students something came to mind.  I was a 4.0 student, got a 28 on my ACT and was accepted to OSU my senior year.  Due to financial implications, I decided to attend the University of Akron.

I've been an Ohio State fan my entire life but have never attended the university.  It really is one of my biggest regrets but with what I was majoring in at the time it didn't make sense to put myself in over 100K in debt just to attend Ohio State.

My question for alumni is this; How do alumni of OSU feel about Buckeye fans that didn't attend the university?  Personally, I believe that anyone born in the Great State of Ohio is a Buckeye by birthright but I'd like to know the perspective of those who attended.
