Unbeknownst to, well, pretty much anyone, Ohio State lost half its coaching staff on the men's side this off-season. Apparently Andrew Vossler, volunteer assistant coach, moved on after 2020. This opened up a slot on the staff, and it has resulted in the return of yet another Buckeye player turned coach!
Bo Lori, a team captain in 2018, has become the new volunteer assistant coach in Columbus under Coach Myers. Lori comes over from Virginia, having been a member of the coaching staff that won the 2019 national title. That makes Bo Lori the only title-winning coach on the staff at the ripe age of 24 or 25. This is a tremendous addition to the staff, and will certainly cement this group as a Buckeye-centric staff. With two of four coaches being former players for the head coach, it's impossible not to like the direction this tram is headed. Continuity os key, and I imagine these men will be in Columbus for a long, long time.
Welcome back, Coach Lori!
