As the title shows, the Buckeyes are ranked #12 in the preseason poll by US Lacrosse Magazine, which is pretty much a fluff magazine. Still, it's a nice recognition for Scarlet and Gray.
The ACC goes 1-2 with Duke and Syracuse, followed by Maryland and Penn State. Penn State at #4 is outrageous and absurd with Ament gone. Mac O'Keefe is the best American shooter currently in college, but no one on that roster is Ament-like.
Every team in the ACC is ranked in the top 10, lowest being Notre Dame at #10. Nearly every Big Ten team is in the poll, with Johns Hopkins being lowest at #20. That Team Up North is the only school in the conference not to be ranked, though I believe that will change.
