Today Ryan Terefenko and Tre Leclaire were named preseason All-Americans. Terefenko was a first-team pick, while Leclaire received the nod as an Honorable Mention. Should Terefenko end the season as a first-team All-American, he would be only the second player to achieve that distinction, after Ben Randall, who did it twice.

Terefenko isn't a surprise, given he was named preseason Midfielder of the Year, but Leclaire this low is disappointing. Tre was killing it last year before Covid-19 stole the season, as was the entire offense. Of course, that's why these are preseason lists. Lots of lacrosse to play yet.
