Don't left the final score fool you. This game was a complete annihilation. Ohio State did NOTHING to even slow down their archrivals. And only some pity goals in Q4 allowed the score to look even slightly respectable.

I don't know why this team can't handle half time, but they haven't won a 3rd quarter since game 2 or 3. The Wolverines scored 10(!) 3rd quarter goals, to ice the game at 17-9. I don't even know what to say anymore.

It would cost relatively little to make a change. But again, there are enough built in excuses that I think the administration is going to let Nick Myers stick around. If they do, then there's nothing left to do except wait for him yo retire. Because holy crap, this team is bad. The program is in shambles. And only the few of us here seem to care at all.

Any coach, at any level, could do better than this, for less money. I mean, my goodness. To allow 10 3rd quarter goals is outrageous. There's no reason for it. At all. The Wolverines had more shots on goal than Ohio State had shots for most of the game. The faceoffs were so bad that they used 5 different players to try to slow the Wolverines down.

I do not see a way out of this. The roster loses a huge amount of experience, and also one of the most prolific offensive players in Jack Myers. What better time to clean house than to send Nick Myers out with one of the worst senior classes in Buckeye history in terms of performance? Frustrating doesn't even begin to describe it.

Worst of all, we have to watch this team play in a conference tournament game against this same Wolverines squad next week. Don't even know if I can stomach it.
