From the OSU Site:
The 17th consecutive title breaks a tie with Michigan for the longest consecutive title streak in men’s tennis. It’s always good when one-upping that school up North.
The consecutive streak is the second-longest in any sport in Big Ten history, trailing just Iowa wrestling’s streak of 25 consecutive titles from 1974-98.
The Buckeyes’ Big Ten record during the streak is a laughable 179-2! That’s right, 179-2.
Ohio State has also followed the regular season title with a Big Ten Tournament title 12 times during this run
The Buckeyes’ overall record since 2006 is 549-59. That’s an average of over 30 wins per season, which included the 14-win COVID season
At home, the Buckeyes have basically been unbeatable. Including all opponents and not just Big Ten opponents, the Buckeyes are 305-2 at home since the streak of the title streak in 2006.
