Coupet, a left-handed pitcher who went 4-3 in 2023 and also led the Buckeyes with 72 strikeouts, is Ohio State’s highest draft pick since Buckeye catcher Dillon Dingler was selected by the Detroit Tigers with the first pick of the second round in 2020.
