Moldovan joins former Ohio State golfers Ryan Armour and Bo Hoag in the field for the event, which will be played from Thursday through Sunday at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholsville, Kentucky.
This week’s event will be Moldovan’s first start in a standard PGA TOUR event. Moldovan, who has broken Ohio State’s single-season scoring record three years in a row, has also played in both of the last two U.S. Opens, making the cut at this year’s edition of the major championship at Los Angeles Country Club last month.
