I don’t have access to any information regarding the athletic department’s budget, coaches’ contracts, engineering, facilities maintenance, etc., that could be instrumental assessing Ohio State’s wants and needs. That said, if all things were possible, what would be at the top of your list?

Here are my top 2:

1. Winterize Ohio Stadium, which would include replacing the turf with real grass and presumably updating the plumbing. This a) reduces the risk of player injuries and b) makes hosting a playoff game more viable. (Smith’s gone on record stating the surface is too hard to play games in December and Lucas Oil would be a healthier and friendlier environment for fans and players.) It would also allow the Shoe to host outdoor hockey games.
2. Make St. John the official home court of the WBB team. It’s 67 years old, holds about 6k fewer fans than the Shot and about 9k more than Covelli.
