Just had a few thoughts here on the program for where I think some of the guys are and where I see things going.

The team has been extremely aggressive on their feet and it, along with conditioning, has been a staple so far. Scrambling has been hit or miss and more frustrating as of late (e.g. TTUN dual). Criticism of Tom Ryan is largely unjustified but I understand the disappointment of the team not performing as well as we’d like when it really matters. 
 

Some wrestlers of note:

McCrone needs to settle down and really work on scrambling…watching his matches are about as frustrating as watching D’Emilio.

Bouzakis is starting to underperform expectations.

Wilcox, Rogotzke and Welsh have been an absolute pleasure to watch…even in the close losses. My money says at least one finishes an All-American.

Mendez is still our best chance at a National Champion but I’m feeling less and less confident with it as the season goes on.
