Ohio State’s Adam Wallin is in the lead with one round left to play at the NCAA men’s golf championship.
The Buckeye senior sits at 5-under through three rounds, two shots ahead of Virginia’s Ben James and Stanford’s Karl Vilips, who are tied for second at 3-under through 54 holes at the Omni La Costa North Course in Carlsbad, California.
As a team, Ohio State sits fifth in the standings with a team score of 13-over-par entering Monday’s fourth round. The top eight teams in the standings after Monday’s final round of stroke play will advance to a three-round match play bracket to determine the team national champion; the individual national champion, however, will be crowned after the final round of stroke play.
