I know Joey was thinking about transferring so that he could play some real minutes in his last year. I wouldn't have faulted him for making that decision, but I am glad that his contribution to the team was recognized. Overall, a touching story and meteoric rise for a Buckeye-lifer that went from preferred walk-on to scholarship athlete to now being captain. Makes me wish I had tried walking on the basketball team (not that I would've lasted longer than the first half day of tryouts).
