Ohio State alumnus Jae’Sean Tate participated in the NBA’s Rising Stars Challenge on Friday night and propelled his team to the final with a game-winning layup in the semifinals.

Tate scored seven points and pulled down six rebounds in Team Barry’s 50-48 win over Team Payton.
The former Buckeye also helped lead Team Barry to a 25-20 win in the championship game, scoring five points and adding a rebound and a steal.
