I haven't had much time to do any CBB research until today watching some games...
Villanova lost most of the remotely tough games they played this year:
Lost to Purdue
Lost to UCLA
Destroyed by Baylor
Destroyed by Creighton (but then got revenge big)
Lost to Marquette twice
Two wins over Providence are the only thing that could remotely be described as quality other than the Creighton payback, unless you count UConn, who would have lost by double digits yesterday to NMSU if not for one-sided officiating keeping them in it.
If we bring the energy on defense again Sunday, I think the good guys have a real chance (assuming Villanova even gets by Delaware, who is out to a fast start).
