Ohio State's incredible 2024-25 College Football Playoff national championship run will be immortalized outside Ohio Stadium.
Twenty-two years ago, Columbus renamed the intersection of Lane Avenue and High Street, one of the busiest spots on Ohio State's campus, to ‘Champions Lane.’ Ten years ago, the intersection was also given the name ‘The Undisputed Way.’ This year, another new street sign will be placed outside Ohio Stadium.
During the Buckeyes' championship celebration Sunday in The Shoe, Columbus mayor Andrew Ginther presented Ohio State with a key to the city and a ‘Champions Way’ street sign.

This new street sign is going to look awfully good on our campus. Thank you @MayorGinther for the fitting recognition for the greatest run to a national championship in college football history! https://t.co/IXaSylN7UZ

Ohio State President Ted Carter hopes this isn't the last time the campus will get a new street sign, as he stated that the Buckeyes “are not done” in terms of national championships and looking ahead to next season.
Ted Carter: I want to tell you how much Im looking forward to 2025. Because we are not done.
