Some good news for Ohio State women’s basketball this evening: All-Big Ten guard Taylor Mikesell is staying with the Buckeyes for her fifth year of eligibility.

Mikesell had been considering entering the WNBA draft, but will be back for a second year with the Buckeyes and a fifth overall season of college basketball instead.
A Massillon, Ohio native, Mikesell averaged 18.6 points per game in her first season with the Buckeyes after transferring from Oregon. Following Ohio State’s season-ending loss to Texas on Friday, Mikesell said transferring to Ohio State was “the best decision I made.”
