Washington's father, George Washington II, was recently hired as an assistant coach on the women's basketball staff at Dayton.
Washington has spent the spring and summer playing with the All-Ohio Red 17U AAU program, which includes several Buckeye targets in the class of 2023, including Pickerington Central's Devin Royal and Africentric's Dailyn Swain.
