During his unofficial visit to Ohio State for the football game against Maryland on Saturday, four-star 2025 guard Bryce James, the youngest son of LeBron, received an offer from the Buckeyes.

Ohio State is just the second program to offer James, as his first (and only other) offer is from Duquesne. Dukes head coach Keith Dambrot coached LeBron for two years at St. Vincent-St. Mary high school.
Ranked as the No. 129 overall player, James is the No. 20 shooting guard in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
The 6-foot-4, 180-pounder played for Sierra Canyon High School last season before transferring to Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, for his junior season.
Ohio State was also a major player in the recruitment of Bronny James, Bryce James' older brother, who was a five-star prospect in the class of 2023. Bronny visited Columbus for the football team's season opener against Notre Dame last season but ultimately signed with USC.
