Obvious statement is obvious but,... this is simply not good enough for Ohio State basketball. And we've seen it for long enough now. Barring a big turnaround and excellent showing in March this year (i.e. Sweet 16 or deeper), I think Holtmann should be fired. The one thing he's done well is recruit - but when you can't produce elite results and when you consistently fall short in the biggest moments, that's simply not enough to keep you around.
To keep him any longer is to fully settle for mediocrity.
