Looks like they are finally pulling the plug. Yes person is quite accurate when it came to the OSU coaches coming in and the portal. Use to publish Buckeye Sports Bulletin back in the day. I really hope it is true. But Holtmann seems to have 9 lives so we will see...

Not much of a hoops person, but have learned that the Ohio State basketball program will be moving on from Chris Holtmann some time today. The Buckeyes have been hugely disappointing this year, standing at 14-11 overall and 4-10 in league play after last night's loss to Wisconsin. Ohio State sits in 13th place in the Big Ten at the moment. The Buckeyes have dropped 16 straight road contests through last night. Holtmann will end his Ohio State career with a record of 137-85, with four trips to the NCAA Tournament but no advancement beyond the round of 32. Holtmann's first season in Columbus was his best as he led the Buckeyes to a 25-9 mark, but since then Ohio State has scraped to barely 20 wins in four seasons, and had a mark of 16-19 last season. Holtmann came to Ohio State after three successful seasons at Butler, including guiding the Bulldogs to the Sweet 16 in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. No word on who will guide the team for the remainder of the season.
