Apologies if these two examples have already been covered on here, but I couldn't help but raise this question. Was falling asleep to some TV last night and as much as it pained me, flipped on a replay of the 2017 Bama/Clemson national championship game (2016 season). Not even 5 minutes into the game, Reuben Foster tries to decapitate Deshaun Watson, both by leading with his helment and clotheslining him, shortly after Watson dumps the ball off on a shovel pass:

Foster gets flagged for 15 yards unnecessary roughness. No targeting review.
A few plays later, Bama defensive back Tony Brown leads with his head on a big hit to Clemson receiver Mike Williams. Not sure how either of them walked away after this:

No penalty. No review.
I know this subject has been belabored to death on this site since December 28th. I feel shameful for even making another post about it, but I just couldn't help but look back on how many OSU players have been ejected since 2017 (Denzel Ward, Bosa, Arnette, Dremont Jones, Jordan Fuller, and obviously the most recent/impactul one being Shaun Wade) for what looks like child's play compared to the above two Bama players. You can even cite the 2020 Citrus Bowl, where a Bama defender basically uses his body as a missile against Michigan's Ronny Bell:

It's outrageous that Bama got away with the above yet OSU gets a few targeting ejections each year for plays no sane person could argue fit the definition of targeting more than the above 3 bama players.
My rational mind won't allow me to believe there is a conspiracy against OSU. It's honestly silly to think that. But...how on earth can someone watch the above 3 clips and compare them to clips of OSU players getting ejected and not at least say "hmmm"....or even "interesting".....or honestly "WTF"?
I really hate to sound like the sore loser here, but just saying...
