Ohio State is reportedly set to lose one of its assistant strength and conditioning coaches.
Chris Fenelon, who has been a member of Ohio State’s strength and conditioning staff since 2019, will become the head strength and conditioning coach at Temple according to Yahoo Sports’ Pete Thamel.
Sources: Temple expected to hire Ohio State assistant strength coach Chris Fenelon as the head strength coach. Fenelon is a Mickey Marotti disciple who spent three years under Matt Campbell at Iowa State prior to OSU.

You may recognize Fenelon from Ohio State’s black stripe videos, as he took over the job of announcing black stripe removals after former director of player development Ryan Stamper left for the Jacksonville Jaguars last offseason. Fenelon was also responsible for officially introducing Ohio State’s new signees in videos posted to the team’s official Twitter account during the early signing period.
Fenelon will join a Temple staff that includes several other staffers with Ohio State connections. New Temple head coach Stan Drayton was an Ohio State assistant coach from 2011-14, while Everett Withers – who was just hired Monday as Temple’s new chief of staff – was Ohio State’s co-defensive coordinator in 2012 and 2013.
