Four-star 2026 TE Corbyn Fordham gives Ohio State a Thanksgiving day commit.
It’s Thanksgiving and the greatest rivalry in sports resumes on the field in 48 hours. Despite disappointment of late, we have much to be thankful for in watching this classic for the last 60 or 70 Novembers. (except for the 90s)
Which Buckeye has the greatest legacy for performances over a career in The Game?
I first thought of Archie, whose teams went 3-0-1 when the rivals were really strong especially on defense.
Troy Smith was another Wolverine killer, with 3 wins as a starter in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
But my vote goes to JT Barrett. Despite getting injured/knocked out in 2 of the classics, JT led his team to 4-0 record. The Bucks scored 42, 42, 30, and 31in those games. Most impressively, he scored at least one rushing TD in each of the four games, and SEVEN overall. He also threw for 3 TDS in the four games.
I’m sure I am forgetting some other Buckeye greats. Who gets your vote?
GO BUCKS.
