Ohio State has released the schedule for this year’s football coaches clinic, which will be held next week at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center in advance of Ohio State’s spring game.
As previously announced in March, the clinic will be headlined by Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, former Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops and legendary Ohio State running back Eddie George (now the head coach at Tennessee State) as well as Ryan Day, all 10 of Ohio State’s assistant coaches and Ohio State’s strength and conditioning staff.
Ohio State announced Tuesday that Buckeye greats Keith Byars and Dick LeBeau will also be honored with the “Ohio’s Finest” awards at the clinic, as Byars – who was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in December – will be honored for his contributions to college football while LeBeau will be recognized for his distinguished career as an NFL coach and player. St. Edward coach Tom Lombardo and Steubenville coach Reno Saccoccia will also receive the Ohio’s Finest award for their contributions to Ohio high school football.
The coaches clinic will begin Thursday evening and continue through Saturday morning. Coaches interested in attending the clinic can register via Ohio State’s official website. Registered clinic attendees will also receive a ticket to the spring game.
