firstly, I want to respectfully say FUCK penn state and their talkative players. bitches running around that program.
so, I do this after every win this season, where I recapped who I personally thought were the best OSU performers. just initial reactions right after the game finished, not looking at highlights or any sort of replay. whomever jumped off the screen for me.

October 21st (Penn State)
1. Marvin Harrison Jr. : Although, as a collective, Defense was the winner of this game... no single player was as impactful on the game as Marvin imo. He was absolutely the only passing game catalyst, and he had a monster game and iced the game with his RAC touchdown towards the end. Made some huge plays in the 4th. 11 receptions and 162 yards and 1 tuddy.
2. JT Tuimoloau: All week I heard about PSU's vaunted LT and oline, but throughout the game the Buckeyes ruined PSU's pocket and in the second half JT was wrecking Fashanu. He set the edge well the entire game and showed real disruption. JT was the catalyst for the defense today.
3. Josh Proctor: I was incredibly impressed by the entire secondary today, and as he has done the entire year, Proctor played really rock solid. Sticky in coverage, great in run support, and was in the right place the entire game.
4. Jesse Mirco: I dont care what anyone says, Mirco was a major part of why we won this game. His punts were putting Allar in terrible starting positions and after some 3 and outs in bad locations by our offense, Mirco made sure PSU wasnt going to have a short field.
5. Jordan Hancock: I couldve chosen so many players here, but I was also extremely impressed by Hancock's play today, both as a true outside corner and as a nickel. Made some great tackles, some great PBUs, and a big time TFL. He basically never got beat and was sticky throughout.
i rarely do honorable mentions, but realistically Jermaine Matthews deserves a lot of credit for playing so well today as a true freshman. I also think Davison Igbinosun absolutely was one of the best players today, he was barely tested because he blanketed their trash ass receivers the entire game.
fuck penn state. go bucks.
