so, I do this after every win this season, where I recapped who I personally thought were the best OSU performers. just initial reactions right after the game finished, not looking at highlights or any sort of replay. whomever jumped off the screen for me.
November 4th (Rutgers)
1. TreVeyon Henderson: For back to back weeks, Treveyon is my top player of the game. He was extremely dynamic the entire game, being the main catalyst for the offense for most of the day. Over 100 yards rushing plus was the leading receiver on the day. Helped McCord get a bit more comfortable. He is elite.
2. Josh Proctor: He, unfortunately, got injured on the game's biggest play, but he was flying around for the defense. Came up big in run support multiple times and basically made the pick six for Hancock. He probably wont show up on the stat sheet, but he was there wherever he needed to be.
3. Donovan Jackson: I felt the O-Line had its best game today, with both guards making holes for Tre. Jackson was pushing people a lot today. I thought the pass protection was pretty rock solid for most of the game as well.
4. Sonny Styles: Similar to Josh, I thought Sonny was pretty good throughout. Had a few mistakes here and there, but was nice in run support and in the open field tackling.
5. Tommy Eichenberg: Overall Tommy was fundamentally sound. Had a couple whiffs, but seemed to be in the right hole for much of the game and made some big time tackles. Ended the game being the leading tackler.
