Ohio State checks in at No. 2 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of 2024.
Interesting that Day stated that Houston may be staying at DT. I do think that McDonald, Houston, Kanu, Moore, Smith Jr etc. can be a force next year; however, this would leave what was already going to be a thin DE room even thinner. Jackson and Curry have showed upside on the field and many even want them starting now.
But where is the depth?
Are Mickens and Kirk going to be ready?
Are the future freshmen like Grady going to be able to make an impact as a freshman at such a physical position?
Does OSU need to try to get a portal guy like potentially Keeley and try to turn his career around?
Or lastly, is this foreshadowing the implementation of the JACK for 2025?
