10 NFL teams have scouts at Ohio Stadium for Ohio State’s ninth game of the season against Purdue.
The Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts each have two representatives attending the game while the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings will each have one scout at the Shoe. The Bills’ representatives include their general manager, Brandon Beane.
The Senior Bowl and the East-West Shrine Bowl also have representatives in attendance, along with a representative from the NFL league office.
Most of the NFL talent in Saturday’s game will be playing for the Buckeyes, with all of their top prospects expected to play against the Boilermakers except for left tackle Josh Simmons, who’s out for the season. But although Purdue is just 1-7 this season, the Boilermakers have some players who are garnering attention from NFL scouts, most notably right tackle Marcus Mbow, who’s been projected as a potential first-round pick.
Other potential 2025 NFL draft picks from Purdue include center Gus Hartwig, linebacker Kydran Jenkins and tight end Max Klare. Purdue’s top defensive playmaker, safety Dillon Thieneman, is a sophomore who is not yet draft-eligible.
