I know that for many of the people on the site, there is nothing Day could say or do that would forgive the coaching performance on Saturday and the 4 year streak. That's fair. 

But for once, I want Ryan Day, king of the coach speak, to come out next week and be accountable. I want him to say: "I told the team that this loss is on the coaching staff. Yes, we could have made more plays here or there, but this was not a player loss - it was a coaching loss. I have rewatched the film, and we did not give this team the best chance to win. We called a bad game. I let down Jack Sawyer and Emeka and the other seniors and I take full responsibility for that."

Then he can go on to ask for another chance, to say: give this team a chance to make a run - the coaches will do their part, the players will do their part, let's see how far this can go. We need the fans behind our players even if they are mad at me. 

I want him to be personally accountable, and I think it gives OSU the best chance of winning a national championship. He cannot come out and talk about the wind. He can't talk about the OL injuries. Nobody wants to hear that shit ever again. Stand up and be counted, and maybe everyone can get behind the seniors for one last ride.
