One of Mark Pantoni’s top assistants will reportedly be joining Lincoln Riley’s staff at USC.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Ohio State assistant director of player personnel Weston Zernechel is leaving the Buckeyes to become USC’s assistant director of player personnel.

Sources: USC is expected to hire Ohio States Weston Zernechel as the schools new assistant director of player personnel. He worked as assistant director of player personnel at Ohio State.

Zernechel has been on Ohio State’s recruiting staff since 2017 and was promoted to assistant director of player personnel in 2018 following the departure of previous assistant director of player personnel Eron Hodges.
