Ohio State closed spring football with a bang on Saturday.
Team Scarlet (the Buckeyes' offense) outlasted Team Gray (the defense) 50-31 in a scrimmage that saw many touchdowns throughout the day.
The focus of the day was on the quarterbacks, with Julian Sayin delivering the strongest performance of the three. Sayin completed 17 of his 24 passing attempts for 175 yards in the spring game and led the offense to touchdowns on each of his first three drives. Lincoln Kienholz also had a good showing, completing 12 of his 18 passing attempts for 158 yards.
In addition to the action that happened on the field, Ohio State’s seniors from last season were back in Ohio Stadium to receive their national championship rings.
Ohio State will now take a breather before the team regroups for summer workouts in June, as the Buckeyes prepare for their season-opening game against Texas in Week 1. In the meantime, we've got nearly 90 photos in our photo gallery from the spring game that you can view at the top of the page.
