This will be my final draft sim and the place for any late Bengals rumors before the draft. Can often feel like drooling Browns fans outnumber us intellectual Bengals fans on 11W. A lot of people talked about it this year on here, thanks for following along has been fun to have a place to talk about the draft.
I wish there was more suspense but the Jamarr Chase pick is all but announced. Crazy to go from everybody being enraged we would miss out on Sewell in the draft to the Bengals passing on him.
Final Draft Simulation
1-Jamarr Chase WR LSU-The air raid is on
2-Liam Eichenberg OT Notre Dame-I have landed on Eichenberg as the guy I want. The Bengals have to find a RT before Reiff moves on and this pick is the best way to do it. Eichenberg probably has the highest floor and after a year at guard should be an above average tackle at the very least.
3-Ben Cleveland IOL UGA-The dream offensive draft ends here. Cleveland is a 6'6" 340 pound mauler of a guard. He wont be driven back and is great at blowing DL back off the ball. He lacks the desired athleticism to be mobile in run blocking and getting lateral in pass pro. However when he gets his hands on you he wins.
4-Dayo Odeyingbo DT Vandy-Project player at 3T. He is a 6'4" 280 freak athlete and had solid production in the SEC. However he is pretty poor in his technique and tore his achilles in draft prep. He wont even be close to ready until the '22 season but has a lot of potential as a very good pass rushing DT, exactly what they need upfront.
5-Josh Imatorbehbe WR Illinois-A backup outside receiver who can win with speed is still a need in this draft. He is 6'2" 215 pounds receiver with good speed and overall great athleticism. He can come in as the second slot in 4 receiver sets or be another speed threat. The receiver room would not only have elite starters but great depth with Josh and Auden Tate
