The father of the Minnesota's QB that OSU will most likely face died last Monday after a year plus battle with cancer. Ted Tanner was diagnosed with brain cancer shortly after he suffered an apparent stroke May of 2020. He passed right around the time Gee Scotts mother did. Both players will play with a heavy heart in the first game of the season. RIP Ted Tanner.
