10/6 update

We're officially removing it from Buckeye football game days and have some controllable/policeable alternative ideas for replacing it. Sincere apologies to everyone who wasn't responsible.

10/4: We are leaning toward eliminating them entirely. 11W has no interest in giving degenerate racists a platform to be vile, even in an unrecorded open chat. We don't want any of that traffic and will not be associated with people disgusting enough to cling to this ignorance and use our site to air their bullshit grievances.

As for pulling the shit I read about in the forum posts about how bad the chat was yesterday - there are no second chances, heat of the moment excuses or mistakes. It's an instant permanent ban. "Black quarterback" isn't a term and hasn't been in decades. It's just "quarterback." Be better.

We are looking into other, more controllable game day options. Apologies to the vast majority for taking this action. Zero tolerance on this issue. Having 99% of posters not being openly racist isn't good enough, especially if the 1% racists feel like they have sanctuary to be shitheads here. The integrity of the site takes precedence.
