A day after Ohio State announced a QB skills competition during halftime of the spring game, the university announced an equipment sale to be held prior to the annual exhibition extravaganza.
From OhioStateBuckeyes.com, which has the full rundown:
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Prior to the annual LiFE Sports Spring Football Game presented by Nationwide Insurance Saturday, April 18, the Ohio State University Department of Athletics will hold an equipment sale inside French Field House.
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase selected items from the football, basketball, hockey, tennis and spirit programs. The sale will begin promptly at 8 a.m. and conclude at 11 a.m.
All items will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Prices may vary depending on the item (a price listing will be available soon). Multiple purchases are permitted and all sales are final. Dependent on crowd size, access to the building may be restricted.
My guess? You might want to get in line right now.
With everything from the equipment sale, lacrosse game, and the spring game featuring the reigning world champions, it should be a big crowd on Saturday.
Ohio State holds the record for spring game attendance (95,722 in 2009).
