Under the lights in the Shoe Sunday evening, the ninth-ranked Ohio State men's lacrosse team recovered from two-straight losses with an 13-9 win over the No.11 Johns Hopkins Blue Jays.

With the win, the Buckeyes move to 1-1 in Big Ten play and have put themselves in a better position to make the four-team conference tournament at the end of the season — which will be hosted by Ohio State on May 4 and 6 at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
Sophomore Jack Jasinski had himself a day for the Scarlet and Gray, notching seven points on four goals and three assists in the win.
Redshirt freshman attackman Lukas Buckley and senior midfielder Johnny Pearson each scored twice for Ohio State, as well as a goal each from freshman attackman Tre Leclaire, senior attackmen Eric Fannell and Austin Shanks, junior attackman Colin Chell and senior midfielder Jake Withers.

Starting with Towson and Denver in mid-March, Ohio State is currently in a stretch of eight straight games against teams currently in the Top 20 or receiving votes in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll.
This stretch will continue next week, as the Buckeyes travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to take on the Wolverines Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.
