If you're craving more about every Ohio State sport, you've found the right spot. Football is in full swing — other Buckeye sports are too.
FIELD HOCKEY SHOCKS NO. 9 LOUISVILLE
The field hockey team has been searching for a start like this the last few years. Fresh off a season-opening win and headed into a matchup with a top-ten team, Ohio State and first-year coach Jarred Martin knocked off No. 9 Louisville 2-1 Friday evening at Buckeye Varsity Field.
Down 1-0 in the last ten minutes of the second half, OSU capitalized on one of the many opportunities they had been getting around the net, getting a redirect from senior forward Morgan Kile. With the game tied, the Buckeyes locked down on defense and rode the game into sudden-death overtime.
Riding that same momentum in getting there in the first place, junior midfielder Casey Cole took a penalty corner pass and slapped a seed into the net, ending the game and giving the Buckeye's a huge win.

WOMEN'S SOCCER wins two for the weekend
It took a while, but they got it done. The Ohio State women's soccer team took down Western Michigan Friday evening at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium 2-0.
After 70 minutes of missed opportunities, good defense and ebb and flow, the Buckeyes finally struck. Sophomore Megan Kammerdeiner took a pass at the front of the box, controlled possession then put the ball past Broncos' goaltender Stephanie Heber for the 1-0 lead.
In the 76th minute, the Buckeyes would add to their lead, this time getting a goal from freshman Marissa Birzon. The shot caromed off the left post before bouncing into the back of the net to effectively seal the win for OSU.

Buckeyes Win Battle Against the Bulls
Riding off Friday's shutout, the women's soccer team scored early, often and throughout Sunday afternoon's contest against South Florida.
After Eleanor Gabriel got the scoring started in the seventh minute, Meghan Kammerdeiner scored 39 seconds later inside the left post to give the Buckeyes a multi-goal lead less than ten minutes into the match.
Just before halftime, freshman Lexxe Lipsey scored her first career goal to the upper-left corner and it was 3-0 Buckeyes before USF answered in the same minute.
The second half saw three more goals by the Buckeyes, one from senior forward Sammy Edwards and junior Sarah Roberts, capped by a bomb of a free kick from senior midfielder Nikki Walts.

USF would get one more throw-in in the 70th minute, though that would be all she wrote, as the Buckeyes went on to win 6-2.
Men's SocceR: Coach John Bluem Gets 200th career win
Following the women's win Friday night, the Ohio State men's soccer got a memorable victory for coach John Bluem. His 21st season at the helm of the program, Bluem got his 200th career win at OSU with with the team's 2-0 win over Lehigh.
Both Buckeye goals on the night game from talented true freshman Joshua Jackson-Ketchup. The forward scored an unassisted goal at 18:09, picking off a lack of control on Lehigh's behalf before burying a shot in the right corner of the goal.
Jackson-Ketchup's second marker of the game also came in the first half, when at 38:23, he fired off an absolute bomb. From 30 yards out, the freshman put one in the upper right corner to get the Buckeyes more insurance than they'd need.

Interesting tidbit, Jackson-Ketchup is the cousin of Taraji Henson, actress in Empire and Hidden Figures, most recently.
WVB: SPORTS IMPORTS D.C. KOEHL ROUND ROBIN CLASSIC
Coming off a runner-up finish in the BYU Invitational, the women's volleyball team returned home to St. John Arena where they rallied off a slow start to a strong weekend, going 2-1 in the round robin based tournament.
After the No. 20-ranked Buckeyes were surprisingly upset by Missouri State in four sets Friday night, OSU rebounded Saturday to win both
The midday contest saw the Buckeyes down Oakland University in four sets (25-14, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23) against a pesky Oakland that played close despite going 0-3 in the tournament.
In the nightcap, OSU came out firing again, this time winning in straight sets over Lipscomb (25-19, 27-25, 25-15). After dropping the tournament opener to a team that didn't receive any points in NCAA women's volleyball coaches poll, the Buckeyes were able to rebound and only lose the tournament championship based on a most sets won tiebreaker to Missouri State.
Taylor Hughes averaged over 10 assists a set while swinging .472 alongside Audra Appold, who racked up 46 kills on the weekend. They represented Ohio State on the all-tournament team.
