Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Prior to the NCAA tournament field being revealed, Ohio State was at 60 to 1 odds to win the national championship. After the bracket was released, though, those odds have dipped a bit.
Bovada released its opening NCAA tournament odds Monday and the Buckeyes came in at 100 to 1 to win a national title. There are 20 teams with better opening odds than Ohio State.
Kentucky is the overwhelming favorite at 6 to 5. Arizona has the second-best odds at 15 to 2 and Wisconsin in third at 17 to 2. Duke is listed at 9 to 1, while both Virginia and Villanova are 10 to 1.
The Buckeyes are the No. 10 seed in the West Region and open play approximately 4:40 p.m. ET in Portland against seventh-seeded Virginia Commonwealth. VCU, like Ohio State is listed at 100 to 1 to win the title. The winner likely sees No. 2 seed Arizona in the Round of 32.
