The second of three post-season transfers from the Ohio State men's basketball program has found a new home. Center Daniel Giddens will transfer to Alabama.
The former four-star recruit made the announcement Sunday via his Twitter account:

The Marietta, Georgia, native played in 33 of 35 games in the 2015-16 seasons for the Buckeyes, making seven starts. He averaged 3.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and a team-high 1.5 blocks per game. He will have three years of eligibility remaining after sitting out the 2016-17 season in accordance with NCAA transfer rules.
Giddens is one of four members of Ohio State's 2015 recruiting class to transfer out of the program after just one season. Austin Grandstaff left in December and landed at Oklahoma, Mickey Mitchell landed at UC Santa Barbara earlier this month and point guard A.J. Harris' next destination has not been announced yet.
Alabama finished 18-15 in coach Avery Johnson's first season, including 6-10 in the SEC. The Crimson Tide lost its first-round NIT matchup at Creighton, 72-54.
