The Ohio State men's basketball tips of its 2016-17 season Friday night against Navy.
Thursday morning, however, Thad Matta gave his men the opportunity to tour the Midshipmen's historic Annapolis campus.
In the above video, walk-on sophomore guard Joey Lane, junior center Trevor Thompson, and freshman center Micah Potter observe the United States Navy's morning colors.
They also toured the dormitories and heard about the average life of a Midshipman on campus:

Matta also received a sword from the Vice Admiral Walter E. "Ted" Carter Jr., the superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy:
One enterprising Ohio State fan already thought of a use for the sword:
