Chicago Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg emerged as a candidate for the Ohio State coaching vacancy Wednesday, however, Hoiberg told the Chicago Tribune he was sticking with his current job.
Fred Hoiberg: "Anytime your name is associated with great job, it's an honor. But I'm head coach of the Bulls/have no intention of leaving."

Hoiberg was a "real candidate" for the Ohio State job, according to Gary Parish of CBS Sports. Sources told Eleven Warriors earlier Wednesday that Hoiberg was "someone to watch" in the search for the next Buckeyes' head coach.
That search, however, appears to be going in a different direction.
ESPN reported late Wednesday evening Creighton coach Greg McDermott would interview for the opening.
