Ohio State might have to take on Penn State without its best player.
According to Dan Wallenberg, Ohio State's Associate Athletics Director for Communications, Keita Bates-Diop is questionable for tonight's game against the Nittany Lions due to illness.
Junior Keita Bates-Diop is questionable (illness) for the @OhioStateHoops home game vs. Penn State tonight. His availability will be determined at game time (8 p.m./BTN)..

Bates-Diop is the Big Ten's leading scorer, averaging 19.7 points per game while also pulling down 8.8 rebounds per game, good for third in the conference.
The Normal, Ill. native has started every game this season for Ohio State after missing the majority of last season with a leg injury. Should he be forced to miss the game against the Nittany Lions, the Buckeyes would likely turn to either Musa Jallow or Andre Wesson to replace him in the starting lineup. Jallow has started 10 games this season at guard, while Wesson is averaging 15.2 minutes in 22 games off the bench.
Tip between Ohio State and Penn State is set for 8 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
