Keyshawn Woods is officially a Buckeye.

Ohio State made Woods' transfer from Wake Forest official Wednesday with a press release. Woods committed to Chris Holtmann's squad on April 24 and will have one year of eligibility remaining.

“We are really excited about the addition of Keyshawn Woods,” Holtmann said in the release. “Keyshawn is an older, experienced versatile guard who can make shots at a high level as well as be an important playmaker. Given our youth on the perimeter we look forward to Keyshawn filling a very important role of play and leadership within that position group. We think he will fit in well with the current make-up of the 2018-2019 Buckeye team.”

Woods will likely play both guard positions for the Buckeyes in 2018-19 and is the second graduate transfer guard Holtmann has signed in as many many years. Last season, he brought in Andrew Dakich, who is now part of his coaching staff as a graduate assistant.

Woods averaged 11.9 points and 1.9 assists per game last season for the Demon Deacons, which finished 11-20 overall in 2017-18. His best collegiate season came in 2016-17, when he started 22 of 33 games for Wake Forest, averaging 12.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest. He started just five games as a redshirt junior last season.

Woods started his college career at Charlotte in 2014-15 before transferring to Wake Forest following a coaching change.
