Bates-Diop has worked out for a handful of teams since the NBA Draft Combine, including the Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors. He also worked out with the Los Angeles Lakers prior to the combine.
The Pacers hold the No. 23 overall pick in the first round and the No. 50 overall selection in the second round of the June 21 draft. Bates-Diop is widely considered a late first to early-second round pick.
