Key joins the Flyers after four years as a Buckeye in which he averaged 7.4 points and five rebounds, starting 49 times in 121 career games. He was Ohio State’s starting center for most of the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, but settled into a backup role behind Felix Okpara last season, leading him to transfer elsewhere for his extra year of eligibility.
Key becomes the first player from last year’s Ohio State roster to transfer to a new school. Former Buckeye guards Scotty Middleton, Roddy Gayle Jr. and Bowen Hardman all remain in the transfer portal looking for a new home.
