The Longhorns went 21-13 in 2023-24, reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to second-seeded Tennessee.
Ohio State will be trying to bounce back from a second straight absence from the Big Dance in its first full season under head coach Jake Diebler, who took over for the fired Chris Holtmann as interim head coach on Feb. 14 before landing the full-time gig on March 17.
It will be just the second meeting all-time between Ohio State and Texas, with the Buckeyes taking their lone previous matchup.
