Jake Diebler’s strong start as a recruiter continued with another big win on Monday.
It’s arguably his biggest win yet as Ohio State landed Aaron Bradshaw – a top-five overall prospect in the 2023 recruiting class who didn’t have any obvious ties to the Buckeyes – to pair with Felix Okpara at center, giving the Buckeyes their most talented tandem of centers in a long time.
Bradshaw brings a combination of athleticism and size to Ohio State that could allow the Buckeyes to play two big men at once while still being able to run the floor and match up with more athletic teams. Even if that doesn’t materialize, Ohio State now has excellent depth in the post with Bradshaw joining Okpara and Austin Parks at center.
In a busy time for roster movement in college sports with Ohio State’s men’s and women’s basketball teams both landing key pieces in the transfer portal over the past two days and the football transfer portal set to reopen Tuesday, we break down the impact of Bradshaw’s commitment and what the men’s basketball Buckeyes should still be targeting in the portal with their two remaining scholarships on a new episode of Press Coverage, which you can watch at the top of the page.
