Five-star 2018 cornerback Anthony Cook, the No. 2 cornerback of the class, was slated to announce his college commitment Monday.
That won't happen now. EJ Holland of 247Sports first reported the news.
The Houston native is down to three finalists: Ohio State, Texas, and Louisiana State. Recruiting insiders had him trending to Texas in recent weeks, so it's not ridiculous to think the Buckeyes' comeback win over Penn State last night weighed on his mind.
Cook officially visited Ohio State for the Oklahoma game.
According to Eleven Warriors Director of Recruiting Andrew Lind, the Ohio State staff has urged Cook to take his time in making a decision. He will expand on this in tonight's Hurry Up.
No word yet on when he will announce. As of now he "does not have a new date in mind."
