Former Ohio State quarterback commit Dylan Raiola has found a new home.
The top-ranked prospect in the 2024 class per 247Sports’ composite rankings announced his commitment to Georgia on Monday, giving the Bulldogs a big lift in the current cycle. With Raiola’s commitment, Georgia has surpassed Ohio State for the No. 2 spot in the 247Sports’ national recruiting rankings.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Raiola committed to the Buckeyes in May 2022, citing the developmental track record of Ryan Day and Corey Dennis as a key reason why he chose Ohio State at the time. However, Raiola decommitted from the Buckeyes on Dec. 17 and received heavy interest from Georgia, Nebraska, USC and others, and has now landed with the Bulldogs five months later.
Raiola’s early departure from Ohio State’s 2024 class gave the Buckeyes plenty of time to find a suitable replacement, as Day and Dennis eventually landed four-star Georgia quarterback Air Noland, the sixth-rated QB in 2024 and a prospect that just earned an invitation to the Elite 11 Finals.
